VI Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are an effective solution to common skin issues including pigmentation, acne, scars, and fine lines. What is sometimes referred to as “chemexfoliation” has been used for hundreds of years for both clinical and aesthetic purposes. But what makes VI Peel the best choice for chemexfoliation?

VI Peel’s version of a chemical peel offers you a safer alternative to mechanical or physical exfoliation. Our peels also can address multiple skin issues simultaneously, from texture, to pigment, to acne, all in one in-office visit.

How Chemical Peels Work

Chemical Peels work by applying a formulated chemical solution to the face. Once applied, the outermost layer of facial skin begins to peel. This process reveals brighter, unblemished facial skin and regenerates healthy cell growth beneath the surface of the skin.

Chemical peels can complement other cosmetic treatments

Dermaplaning prior to your chemical peel provides even more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Our trained, experienced aestheticians can customize Chemical Peel treatments based on each patient’s specific skin type.

Chemical Peels FAQs

Chemical Peels can effectively treat a wide variety of aesthetic issues including wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, sun damage, uneven skin tone, and more. We perform a skin analysis to determine the right Chemical Peel for each patient we consult with.

Some patients experience a mild burning sensation on their skin during treatment, however Chemical Peels are not considered painful. This sensation is temporary and we can help minimize this by utilizing a chilling device. Depending on the depth of the peel, Chemical Peels may cause redness and sloughing for 3 – 5 days (or even 7 – 10 days in some cases).

If you have further questions about the Chemical Peel treatments we perform or to request a treatment today, please contact MadEmEL Medical Aesthetics for a complimentary consultation.
