FemTouch is a non-surgical, fractional CO2 laser treatment that addresses vaginal dryness, itching, and other symptoms related to genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). At MadEmEl, FemTouch is always performed by founder and board-certified gynecologist Dr. Kristine Gould.

Mechanism
A sterilized device is inserted into the vagina and moved in a 360-degree pattern to treat the full vaginal canal. The laser energy breaks down the vaginal mucosa in a controlled way, prompting the body to remodel the tissue with new collagen and elastin and increased blood supply.
Protocol
A series of 3 treatments is typically recommended for optimal results, spaced about a month apart. Many patients notice improvement after the first session, with continued benefit through the full series.
Expectations
No downtime is required, and patients can typically resume normal activities immediately, though intercourse is generally avoided for 24 hours following treatment. Results build gradually as new collagen forms, with continued improvement over the following weeks. A yearly maintenance treatment is often recommended to help sustain results long-term.
