MadEmEl uses the Splendor X by Lumenis — one of the newest laser hair reduction technologies available, combining Nd:YAG and Alexandrite wavelengths in Blend Mode to target hair follicles at two depths below the skin’s surface.

Expectations
Since darker hair follicles are targeted, patients with blonde, gray, or red hair may see limited results. Downtime is minimal — some patients notice slight redness or swelling that resolves within a few hours, and normal activities can resume immediately. Diligent sun protection is recommended in the weeks following treatment.
Number of Sessions
Because hair grows in cycles and only actively growing follicles respond to treatment, most patients need a series of sessions — typically 6–8, spaced 4–8 weeks apart to catch hair in different growth phases.

Session length depends on the size of the area being treated — smaller areas like the upper lip or underarms take just a few minutes, while larger areas such as the back or full legs may take 30–60 minutes.
